Why We Started Hessey Farmstead
Like many families, we wanted better food — food that was fresh, nutrient-dense, and grown with care.
So we built a small, family-run vegetable farm focused on:
- Flavor-first varieties
- Sustainable growing practices
- Harvesting at peak freshness
- Selling directly to our community
We grow from May through October, selecting crops that thrive in our Michigan climate and taste the way vegetables are meant to taste.
We don’t aim to grow everything.
We focus on what we grow best.
